To load the Ridgeons Locations on your NAVMAN Device follow the instructions below:
  1. Locate the Ridgeons.csv and Ridgeons.bmp files in the zip file you have
    downloaded and extract them to a location on your computer.
  2. Connect your Navman device to the PC using the lead supplied.Turn on the device and start up the Navman SmartST Desktop software (supplied with most models as standard).
  3. Once the SmartST Desktop software has loaded, select Map > Points of Interest from the top menu.
  4. In the new POI Editor window, select File > Open Text File, select the data file you extracted earlier and click 'Open'.
  5. With the POI Editor now populated with data, select File > Save to Device.
  6. Choose a name for the POI file, check the "Active" box, select how you want to be alerted to the location of the Ridgeons Location, browse to the location of the extracted BMP image file for the icon and click 'OK'.
  7. When prompted, click 'Copy POI' to save the POI file to your device.
  8. Next, close the SmartST Desktop software, disconnect the USB cable and restart your Navman.
  9. To enable the Ridgeons Locations POI, browse to the options screen on your Navman, select POIs > Enable POIs, locate the Ridgeons Locations POI and touch the screen to check the box beside it.
  10. The POI will now be active.

Experiencing problems?
If you experience problems please check the following:
  • Does your models come with the SmartST Desktop software as standard?
    (not all models do)
  • Check that you have the latest version of the SmartST Desktop software via www.navman.com
  • Check that you have sufficient memory for the POI list.
